Affiliate Affiliates promote a brand through their digital channels and earn a commission for every conversion e.g. clicks or direct sales. This includes but is not limited to blogs and publications, and can take the form of digital banners or links embedded in copy. It is the Franchisees responsibility to recruit, manage and fund local affiliate programs with pre-agreed contracts. Please consult Dune Marketing if support is required in drafting payment terms. Best practice principles include: • Affiliate links are useful for consideration and conversion from new or engaged customers (depending on the affiliate’s audience). Some key success metrics include CVR, CTR and CPC. • Affiliates must be brand relevant e.g. fashion blogs or lifestyle publications. • Links must click through to a relevant online brand page. • Global campaigns or brand content can be used as creative. Local content cannot be used unless agreed otherwise with Dune Marketing, including content produced by an affiliate.
