LIVE Six Senses Hotels have become synonymous in opening seductively beautiful beach hotels, Six Senses Zil Pasyon is a wonderful addition to the collection. The hotel is located on the private island of Félicité, about 55 kilometres north-east of Mahé, and close to the well known islands of Praslin and La Digue. The dramatic granitic island is around one-square mile in size and is characterised by its large granite boulders and picture-perfect beaches (the best being La Penice just around the corner from the main resort). The forested centre of the island rises up to a peak of 213 metres, providing a range of walking trails for guests to explore. Exceptional flora grows on the island - keep an eye out for wild vanilla orchids, coconut palms, wild mango, bananas and oranges, amongst many others. ACCOMMODATION There are 28 one-bedroom villas and 2 two-bedroom villas along with 17 private residences. Villas range in size from 200 to 500 square metres, and are surrounded by spacious grounds for complete privacy. They all feature plunge pools and private sundecks with outdoor dining areas. Bathrooms contain a deep-soaking bathtub, and amenities are provided by The Organic Pharmacy. Each villa has a private wine cellar and butler service. FACILITIES Six Senses Zil Pasyon has six bar and dining options. Island Cafe is a blend of European, Asian and African fare, inspired by the Seychellois spice route. Ocean Kitchen is located by the water, with fresh and delicious local seafood. The Chef’s Kitchen provides up to six guests with the chance to interact with the chef as he prepares a private dinner. The Wine Vault is another private dining experience for two to eight guests, located in the wine cellar with wine tastings provided by the sommelier. Koko Bar and Lakanbiz offer a host of delectable drinks, especially a huge variety of rums, as well as Cuban cigars. ACTIVITIES The Six Senses Zil Pasyon’s Experience Center can arrange a huge variety of activities such as diving, water sports and boat excursions to neighbouring islands. Guests can take part in cooking classes with local ingredients, or try their hand at fishing. There is also an outdoor cinema, daily yoga and a petanque court for guests’ use. SERVICES Each villa is serviced by a 24-hour Guest Experience Maker, the Six Senses take on a butler.
