Today is all about Xi’an’s rich history. After breakfast we will begin with a visit to the awe-inspiring Terra-Cotta Warriors, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This vast army of life-sized clay soldiers, horses, and chariots was buried over 2,000 years ago to protect China’s first emperor in the afterlife. Each figure is unique, showcasing an incredible level of craftsmanship and detail, making this one of the most remarkable archaeological discoveries of the 20th century. In the afternoon, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through the serene grounds of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This ancient Buddhist site, originally built in the 7th century, is a significant symbol of Xi’an’s cultural heritage and a peaceful spot for reflection.
