DAY 3 DESERT CASTLES – AMMAN CITY TOUR After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll head to Jordan’s desert castles, beautiful examples of early Islamic art and architecture that stand as a testament to a fascinating era in the country’s rich history. Their fine mosaics, frescoes, stone and stucco carvings, and illustrations, inspired by Persian and Greco-Roman traditions, tell countless stories of life in the 8th century. You will then have a tour of Amman, the capital of Jordan, where you will discover Hashemite kingdom; its historic center, its citadel, its Roman amphitheater, its old mosques, its galleries and shops the city’s history, culture, and character. Explore the historic centre, the Citadel, the Roman amphitheatre, old mosques, galleries, and traditional shops, as well as the more modern areas that give the city its unique duality and exceptional charm. At the end of the day, you will return to the Amman Hilton hotel for dinner and overnight stay. DAY 4 NEBO – MADABA – SHOBAK CASTLE After breakfast and check-out from the Amman hotel, you will start the tour to Mount

Nebo, where Moses is said to have viewed the Promised Land before his death. From a platform in front of the church, you can enjoy a breathtaking view across the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. drive approximately 15 minutes to Madaba, known as “The City of Mosaics”, a typical East Bank town where almost every house sits atop a fine Byzantine mosaic. Many of these mosaics have been excavated and are on display in the town’s museum, while countless others remain hidden, awaiting discovery. Next, you will visit Shobak Castle (Mons Realis, or the Royal Mountain), built in 1115 by Baldwin I of Jerusalem during his campaign in the area, including the capture of Aqaba in 1116. Strategically perched on a hill on the plain of Edom, the castle oversaw pilgrimage and caravan routes from Syria to Arabia. The day concludes with your arrival at the Nabatean city of Petra, where you will check in at the 5* Petra Mövenpick Hotel & Resort for dinner and overnight stay. DAY 2 JERASH – AJLOUN After breakfast at the hotel in Amman, then to Jerash city the grandeur of Imperial Rome being one of the largest and most well preserved sites of Roman architecture in the World, its paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, theaters, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls pierced by towers and gates remain in exceptional condition. Then transfer to Al-Rabid Castle in Ajloun city; the 12th century Castle built by one of Saladin’s lieutenants in the campaign against the Crusaders. At the end of the day, you will return to the Amman Hilton hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
