DAY 2 TASHKENT
Arrival in Tashkent and transfer to the Crown Plaza Hotel or similar for check in. We will have some time to rest before starting the day. Around noon, we begin the site seeing tour which will take us to the city’s historic heart, beginning with a visit to the Hazrati Imam (Khast‑Imam) Ensemble, the main religious centre of the capital. Here you’ll find an impressive collection of mausoleums and madrassas dating from the 16th to 19th centuries, along with a modern cathedral mosque. The complex includes notable landmarks such as the Kaffal ash‑Shoshiy Mausoleum, the Barak Khan Madrassa, the Muy‑Mubarak Madrassa—home to the famed 7th‑century Osman Qur’an—the Tillya‑Sheikh and Namozgoh mosques, and the Hazrat Imam Cathedral Mosque. You’ll then continue to the Kukeldash Madrasah, a prominent 16th‑century structure that remains one of the city’s key historic sites. The visit concludes at Chorsu Bazaar, a lively traditional marketplace where you can stroll through colourful stalls, discover local products, and experience the everyday rhythm of Tashkent. Enjoy dinner followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
