Filtering and sorting data within a repeater.
To make sure that only the correct data show on dynamic pages, you need to filter and sort the results in the dataset settings.
Filtering The above filter, which separates the hotels into the correct cities, works as follows: If the locality field of the Europe Hotels dataset matches the title of the Europe Cities page, then that hotel should appear in this repeater. It is basically filtering by matching the cities. If the hotel is in Central Malta, then it will show on the Central Malta page. It is vital that the names which you will use for filtering, like cities and countries and written exactly the same way or they won’t be recognised, be careful or cases and extra spaces. Ordering You can order the data by selecting a field from the dataset and using that as a reference. If you it is a text field, you can sort from A to Z, or from Z to A. If it is a number field, you can sort from smallest to largest or largest to smallest. In this case we need to sort in price-ascending order. But in order to include the Euro symbol, the price field needs to be a text field. So there is a separate field labelled Order, so you need to export the dataset in Excel and order it there using ascending numbers.
