The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of Sri Lanka’s most famous wildlife attractions, known for its large herd of rescued and orphaned elephants. It was established in 1975 to care for and protect elephants found abandoned or injured in the wild. Then transfer to the first hotel located in Dambulla. Arriving at the hotel proceed to the reception area for the welcome ceremony arranged especially for you! Lighting the traditional oil lamp be received in the Sri Lankan way.
