the world’s first Burns Club, with many of the founding members having known Robert Burns himself. Burns’ love Mary Campbell (Highland Mary) died in the town and is buried in Gree nock Cemetery. BELFAST is in many ways a brand-new city. The old shipyards on the Lagan continue to give way to the luxury apartments of the Titanic Quarter, whose centrepiece – the stunning, star-shaped edifice housing the Titanic Belfast centre, covering the ill-fated liner’s construction here has become the city’s number-one tourist draw; it was even named the world’s leading tourist attraction at the 2016 World Travel Awards. New venues keep popping up – already this decade historic Crumlin Road Gaol and SS Nomadic opened to the public. They all add to a list of attractions that includes beautifully restored Victorian architecture, a glittering waterfront lined with modern art, a fantastic and fast-ex panding foodie scene and music-filled pubs. CORK is Ireland`s third city (after Dublin and Belfast) and has always been an important seaport. It began on an island in the swampy es tuary of the River Lee and gradually climbed up the steep banks on either side. Today the river flows through Cork city in two main channels, so that you find yourself constantly crossing bridges. The best way to see the city and sample the flavours of its life is to walk. During the day as well as in the evening, the Rooftop Garden is a hotspot on board. With a length of 306 meters, the ship offers space for 2,910 passengers. The ship was built at the STX shipyard in Saint Nazaire, France. Guests can expect 5-star comfort, excel lent service and excellent cuisine. AKUREYRI is close to many of Iceland’s most renowned natural beauty spots and the town itself is a popular stopping place for both long and short stays. This tiny city is filled with bright ly painted wooden houses, cosy bars and sleepy streets leading down to the striking Eyjafjord. Even the traffic lights are cute, with stop lights in the shape of red hearts that glow at each PORTS OF CALL

ISAFJORDUR is a wonderful town in the West Fjords of Iceland. This is the craggy bit in the northwest of Iceland, characterised by deep, blue fjords, separated by flat-topped mountains. Isafjordur is the biggest town in the area and it’s surrounded by mountains and beautiful land scapes. It is a perfect location to enjoy all this capital of the Westfjords has to offer. REYKJAVIK bears the distinction of being the world’s northernmost capital that combines colourful buildings, quirky, creative people, eye-popping design, wild nightlife and a capricious soul. For many Icelandic visitors it also serves as a gateway to the rugged adventure options beyond. Even if you come to Reykjavik for a short visit, be sure to take a trip to the countryside. The majority of Icelanders live in the capital, but you can guarantee their spirits also roam free across the land. Absorb what you see, hear, taste, smell – all part of Iceland’s rich heritage. Take Reykjavík, then add its snow-topped mountains, churning seas and crystal-clear air, and the chances are you’ll fall helplessly in love, heading home already saving to return. GREENOCK is a historic industrial town by the Firth of Clyde, 25 miles west of Glasgow. Much of the west end of Greenock retains its impres sive Victorian buildings, not least the 245-foot Victoria Tower which remains incomplete. Attractions include McLean Museum and Art Gallery and the Old West Kirk, which dates from 1591 and features stained glass by artists such as Dante Gabriel Rossetti. The town is home to
