A full dedicated day to Balboa Park – one of the most impressive parks in the world. Lush gardens offer a magnificent backdrop for cultural attractions. Gardens include the award-winning rose garden, Alcazar Garden, and the historic Botanical Building. Balboa Park is also home to 15 major museums. Discover stunning art collections, watch vivid IMAX films, learn from docent-led tours, and enjoy interactive, kid-friendly exhibitions. For those who have children or would like to see one of the largest zoos in the world, Balboa Park is home to more than 4,000 rare and endangered animals representing more than 800 species and subspecies. The San Diego Zoo is a world famous conservation organization where visitors view exotic animals in habitat environments. Zoo guests may view rare giant pandas, cuddly looking koalas, reptiles of various shapes and sizes and many more interesting species.
