There is plenty to see and do in Canberra. The most well-known are Parliament House, Old Parliament House, The Aboriginal Tent Embassy, The Australian War Memorial and Lake Burley. Another place you can visit is the attractive Government House and the gardens. Depart Canberra and proceed to Sydney. Check in at The 5* Hilton Sydney Hotel.

DAY 8 SYDNEY

Today we will tour this magnificent city known to be one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities in the world. We will see the Harbour Bridge, visit the famous Opera House and Mrs Macquarie’s Chair which is a Sydney landmark. The chair was carved out of a sandstone rock ledge by convicts in 1810. Specially commissioned by Governor Macquarie for his wife Elizabeth who was known to love the area this is one of the best vantage points to view the sights of Sydney Harbour. We then return to King Street Wharf to board the cruise vessel for a luncheon on the overwhelming Sydney Harbour.

Visit Circular Quay, which is the hub of Sydney Harbour, situated at a small inlet called Sydney Cove, the founding site for Sydney and Australia. The quay is a vibrant, bustling place with ferries leaving every few minutes to different parts of the harbour, including Taronga Zoo and Manly, where we will visit today. DAY 19 - LAKE TEKAPO - CHRISTCHURCH The Canterbury region of the east coast is a rustic union of grassy plains, mirror-like lakes and snow-capped mountains, the kind of landscape that you might see on postcards. Arrive into the beautiful English city of Christchurch for a guided visit. The city is not only rebuilding itself after the devastating 2010/11 earthquakes, but is changing the way architects think about design. Case in point the mind-bending Transitional Cathedral, made largely of cardboard, and Turanga, the gold-clad central library. Accommodation at the Distinction Christchurch Hotel DAY 20 - CHRISTCHURCH Travel north through rolling countryside to Hurunui Hills, a hill country farm in North Canterbury. Enjoy warm Kiwi hospitality with the Bamford Family, who have been farming at Hurunui since 1884 with six generations focused on producing premium Merino sheep,

DAY 21 - CHRISTCHURCH - SYDNEY You’ve travelled hundreds of kilometres across two islands, likely taken thousands of photos, and made countless memories and new friends. The only thing left to do is plan your next trip to New Zealand. After our final day in Sydney, we board our coach transfer to the airport for our flight to Malta via Dubai.
