DAY 3 WEST GEORGIA - KUTAISI

After breakfast, we will head west to visit Mtskheta, the ancient capital and spiritual heart of Georgia. After a pleasant walk through this historic town, we’ll continue our journey towards Western Georgia and the city of Kutaisi, once the capital of the legendary kingdom of Colchis. According to myth, Kutaisi was home to the famous Golden Fleece, sought by the Argonauts with the help of the king’s daughter, Medea. Take a leisurely walk through the cozy streets of Kutaisi, exploring its narrow lanes, unique sights, and lively atmosphere. Discover a variety of intriguing spots, local pubs, and vibrant bars that showcase the city’s character and charm. We will end the day with dinner at a traditional restaurant, followed by an overnight stay in Kutaisi.
