Breakfast, and we continue our exploration of Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires. We begin with a visit to Hradčany, the castle district, offering stunning panoramic views of the city. Along the way, we’ll pass the beautiful Loretto Church en route to Prague Castle. As we stroll through the castle’s courtyards, we visit the majestic Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague’s largest and most significant temple. We will also explore the Old Royal Palace, the historic seat of Bohemian princes and kings, as well as the Romanesque Basilica of St. George, the second-oldest church within the castle. Our tour concludes with a visit to the enchanting Golden Lane, once home to the city’s goldsmiths, with its quaint miniature houses.
