DAY 1 – MALTA - PRAGUE Meet your tour manager at Malta International Airport for your flight to Prague. Arrival and transfer to hotel for check in at the 4* Panorama Hotel Prague. DAY 2 – PRAGUE Breakfast and proceed for the city centre of Prague. We visit Wenceslas Square, passing by the city’s elegant shops, one arrives in The Old Town Square, the heart of the city, home to the famous Astronomical clock, Town Hall, St. Nicholas church, Jan Hus Monument and the lovely Tyn Church. Some free time will be given to enjoy the beautiful square. We will also visit the splendid Charles Bridge a medieval stone bridge crossing the Vltava River, one the main tourist attraction in Prague. Our walk also takes us to the Maltese Square as the Knights of Malta had their Consulate here. We will visit the interesting John Lennon wall, a rainbow of graffiti dedicated to world peace and Little Venice with its pretty canals and charming houses. This evening, we suggest you visit Old Town Square. DAY 3 – DRESDEN GERMANY Breakfast, and today our tour will take us to Germany to visit Dresden, a major cultural centre with a sad history as it was mostly destroyed during World War II. Nowadays the beautiful city is rich in art treasures, history, and buildings, as the city was slowly rebuilt to its former glory. We will stop by the Zwinger palace a gem, housing international renowned museums of Porcelain Collections and Old Masters Picture Gallery amongst others.
There are many other important buildings and sights that can be enjoyed during our walking tour in the city. DAY 4 – PRAGUE DAY AT LEISURE Breakfast and today you have a free day to enjoy Prague. The medieval city centre has plenty to offer to all ages and interests, beautiful palaces and parks along the Vltava River, museums and so much more to be visited and enjoyed. Another great way to spend the day is to visit the Prague Zoo, one of the best zoos in Europe. Spread over a huge territory with many diversities of animals and birds from all over the world (transfers and entrance tickets not included) It will surely be an entertaining day for young and old. Prague Botanical Gardens close by is a place of relaxation and entertainment and a delight for all your senses. DAY 5 – HRADČANY Breakfast, and we continue our exploration of Prague, the City of a Hundred Spires. We begin with a visit to Hradčany, the castle district, offering stunning panoramic views of the city. Along the way, we’ll pass the beautiful Loretto Church en route to Prague Castle. As we stroll through the castle’s courtyards, we visit the majestic Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague’s largest and most significant temple. We will also explore the Old Royal Palace, the historic seat of Bohemian princes and kings, as well as the Romanesque Basilica of St. George, the second-oldest church within the castle. Our tour concludes with a visit to the enchanting Golden
Lane, once home to the city’s goldsmiths, with its quaint miniature houses. DAY 6 – ČESKÝ KRUMLOV Today we visit Cesky Krumlov a UNESCO a World Heritage. The town set in a deep valley and divided by the Vltava River, is truly enchanting. Our tour begins with a visit to the castle grounds, of-fering a panoramic view of this charming town. We’ll then walk down to the centre passing through the streets and exploring the historic centre. The town is stunning with typical Czech restaurants along the river, winding lanes and the imposing Krumlov Castle guarding the town below. You`ll have some free time before we return to our hotel. DAY 7 – PILSEN Breakfast and check out of your rooms. Today we have a half day visit of Pilsen, a town famous for its beer production. We go to Pilsner Urquell Brewery, we visit the plant and learn about the beer making process. We also visit parts of the cellars to get a taste of this unique beer. DAY 8 – KARLOVY VARY – MALTA Breakfast and today we will visit Karlovy Vary, a Spa Town in the west Bohemia region of the Czech Republic with thermal springs in the very centre. We stroll along the river enjoying the lovely buildings and several colonnades with columned walkways with hot springs. Time at leisure for personal sightseeing and to explore the new town full of shops and restaurants. Transfer to Prague International Airport for your flight back to Malta.
