Optional experiences include talks, film screenings, or unhurried exploration. DAY 10 – IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE KING Enjoy a full day retracing Elvis’s early life and rise to fame. Begin with breakfast at The Arcade Restaurant, his favourite diner, before visiting the Rock ’n’ Soul Museum and Sun Studio, where he recorded his first hit. See his early homes and schools, the Tennessee Karate Institute where he trained, and the Overton Park Shell, the site of his first live performance. Visit the Stax Museum for an in-depth look at Southern soul music, and end the day at 1034 Audubon Drive—Elvis’s first purchased home in Memphis. DAY 11 – TUPELO & CANDLELIGHT VIGIL Take a day trip to Tupelo, Mississippi—Elvis’s birthplace. Visit his childhood home and museum to learn about his humble beginnings.
