As the gateway to Dubai Parks and Resorts, Riverland Dubai is where you’ll most likely begin your theme park adventure. Connecting all of the theme parks – the district is home to more than 50 restaurants, cafés and shops spread across four themed zones. It’s more than just a launch pad for the parks, though. Street theatre performances, family- friendly events and an attractive canal make Riverland Dubai a destination in its own right, while free entry means it attracts a mix of theme park-goers and local residents, who come to soak up the holiday atmosphere. Take a

nostalgia-inducing trip back to 1950s America at The Boardwalk, with palm trees, neon signs and casual eateries imported from the US. Treat the family to burritos at Tortilla or hickory-smoked ribs at Famous Dave’s, followed by a cherry-topped sundae at retro ice cream parlour, Ella’s Creamery. In the atmospheric French Village, you can wander along cobblestone streets lined with medieval-style buildings.
