THE FUTURE In commitment to sustainability, Air Malta’s fleet upgrade introduces the Airbus A320neo, a 180-seater aircraft known for fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness. With redesigned cabins providing enhanced comfort, this modern aircraft generates 50% less noise than its predecessor. Six of the eight aircraft in the fleet are now A320neo, marking a significant stride toward a greener and more advanced future.

THE PAST Air Malta, established on April 1, 1974, as the national airline of Malta, has evolved into a premier point to-point carrier. Operating 8 Airbus A320 aircraft, it serves 17 destinations across Europe. From an inaugural 52,000 passengers, the airline now annually transports 2 million, totalling over 56 million passengers safely travelling on Air Malta across its history.
