DAY 3 QUITO - OTAVALO (B) Visit a musical instrument workshop in Peguche and discover the worldwide known Indian handcrafts market Otavalo. 1 overnight / breakfast in Otavalo. DAY 4 OTAVALO - PAPALLACTA (B) Visit the Cuicocha Lagoon and the Cotacachi town, Ecuador’s leatherwork center before you drive to the small Andean village of Papallacta to relax in the hot spring. 1 overnight / breakfast in Papallacta. DAY 5 PAPALLACTA - COTOPAXI (B) Transfer to the Cotopaxi National Park. Visit to the Laguna de Limpiopungo. Later on visit to a flower plantation. 1 overnight / breakfast in Cotopaxi. DAY 7 RIOBAMBA - CUENCA (B/L) Visit of market Tzalaron. Then transfer to Cuenca, enroute visit to the ruin site of Ingapirca. 2 overnights / breakfast in Cuenca. DAY 8 CUENCA (B) Half day city tour with visit to a Panama hat factory. The afternoon is free at leisure. DAY 9 CUENCA - GUAYAQUIL (B) Transfer to Guayaquil. Visit to a cacao project enroute. Upon arrival short city tour. 1 overnight / breakfast in Guayaquil. DAY 10 GUAYAQUIL (B) End of the roundtrip. Departure homebound flight or Galapagos extension. DAY 6 COTOPAXI - RIOBAMBA (B) Visit to an Indian market & the volcanic lake Quilotoa. In the afternoon transfer to Riobamba. 1 overnight / breakfast in Riobamba.
