There is nothing better than sipping a hot cup of Ceylon tea accompanied with some fresh eats, as you relax towards an end of a day. DAY 11 - HATTON - DEMODARA - ELLA Wake up to a morning in the hills. breakfast will be laid out for you to enjoy at the hotel. Thereafter a wonderful experience travelling on the rails in the hill country. Board the train for your journey to Demodara. The train will follow a most scenic route to the destination and will offer you time to enjoy the highlights of the journey passing by some beautiful waterfalls, the summit point of the railway network and the colonial style stations. And in this sector of the ride you pass through 2 railway engineering marvels. Cross the famous nine arch bridge, a major tourist highlight and a beautiful photo location that depicts the advanced knowledge and ingenuity of the constructions of the era. Then the Demodara loop, known as a spiral loop, the track passes under itself, going around the loop and emerges from the tunnel. This is believed to be the only loop in the world with a railway station situated exactly over the tunnel of the loop. Completing the day head to the hotel in Ella, check in and refresh to a relaxed overnight. DAY 12 - ELLA Rise up early and make your way to the base point of the Little Adam’s peak to start this day with an energizing trek. A breakfast

pack will be prepared and given to be taken with you. An easy trek to the top will take you through the serene nature and amazing scenery which is yet to be woken up. Be at the peak at the moment of sunrise and witness another mesmerizing start of the day. The sunrays will soon start lighting up the mountains showing the lush greenery against the light blue sky. Excited for some adventure? Afterwards let’s head to the Flying Ravana zip line ride for an exhilarating experience. The two-wire zip-line stretches for more than half a kilometre, slides at 80kmph and offers a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. Later, travel through the forest patches and arrive at the nine arch bridge. Remember you travelling on this bridge? A train tooting the horn, coming through the tunnel and slowly taking the curve of the bridge is a sight worth seeing. Remember this location from 2 different aspects. Thereafter take a moment to explore little of the famous Ella town. A small cosy town nestled among the hills is sure to captivate any visitor. With a laidback atmosphere Ella is an ideal location to relax, be close to nature or even engage in some adventure! DAY 13 - ELLA - YALA A new day to enjoy! The breakfast will be prepared and laid out for you. Fill yourself up and after we will make our towards the wilderness of the island. Make a short stop at the Ravana Waterfall, which hides the tales of historical legend ‘The Ramayana’ behind its curtain of water. Later in the afternoon head in to the Yala national park for the game drive, your experience in the wilderness. The park being the second largest national park in Sri Lanka

provides home to some of the most magnificent wildlife, and is identified to be one of the best locations with a good ratio on sighting 3 species of the “Big Five of Sri Lanka”. The majestic Sri Lankan elephant, the fierce Sri Lankan leopard and the elusive Sri Lankan sloth bear! The area also bears great importance on historical aspects having past civilizations situated there and also being connected to ancient legends. DAY 14 - YALA - GALLE - KOSGODA Enjoy the breakfast laid for you before we cruise through the south coast. But before we have another unique experience lined up for you to witness. Curd, a local delicacy enjoyed by many, but it is interesting to see how this is actually produced. Head to a curd makers home to witness the curd making process. You can closely examine how the different stages progress from the female buffaloes being milked, followed by straining, boiling and curing. The entire visit would not be complete if you do not have the opportunity to taste the curd, therefore pour some treacle and enjoy a fresh cup of this local delicacy! Witness the uncommon practice of fishing on a stick! This is no ordinary fishing technique, there might be several methods of catching a fish but this one is mind-boggling. Stilt Fishing is an old tradition practiced by fishing families in south-western-most Sri Lanka.
