DAY 6 MAI CHAU - AVANA RETREAT - HOA LU - TAM COC (NINH BÌNH) (B) Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will leave Mai Chau for Ninh Binh province. After 4-hours-drive aprox, we will arrive in Hoa Lu, the former capital of Vietnam around the 10th century. Along the way, you will see countless rice fields dotted with karst rock formations and limestone caves (this area is also known as the Dry Halong). Visit Hoa Lu - the former royal capital of Vietnam. Visit the 10th century King Dinh Temple and King Le Temple, discovering the heroic stories of these two kings in the Chinese wars. Afterwards, go to Tam Coc (10 km from Hoa Lu). Free time at leisure.
