Begin the day with a visit to the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before crashing down with incredible power. Enjoy a short game drive en route, with opportunities to spot wildlife as the park awakens. Afterward, embark on a scenic transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey leads you across the dramatic Albertine Escarpment, part of the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views, traditional homesteads, and breathtaking vistas of the legendary Mountains of the Moon (Rwenzori Range). Arrive at Kibale Forest in the evening, just in time for dinner and overnight. Kibale Forest is a magnificent tropical jungle and is renowned as the Primate Capital of the World. It is home to 13 species of primates, including chimpanzees, olive baboons, black-and-white colobus, red colobus, grey‑cheeked mangabey, and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. With its rich biodiversity and dense forest canopy, Kibale offers one of Africa’s best primate‑tracking experiences. Dinner and lodging at Turaco Treetops or similar.
