DAY 1 – MALTA – UGANDA Meet your tour manager at Malta International Airport for your flight to Uganda. DAY 2 - ENTEBBE Arrival at Entebbe Airport and transfer to Jet Villas Eco Lodge or similar for check in. After a short night, we have a late breakfast, and afterwards we drive to Ziwa Sanctuary for a White Rhino bush walk. This is the only place in Uganda where you can see the white Rhinos in the wild. Afterwards we drive to Murchison falls National Park, where we will have dinner and check in at Pakuba Safari Lodge or similar. Murchison Falls is one of the most beautiful national parks of Uganda. One of the main attractions is the Nile, with the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the whole Nile is forced through a narrow gorge and falls 60 metres. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards. DAY 3 – MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK Start the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to experience the wilderness as the savannah comes alive. This is when predators are most active and wildlife is easiest to spot, offering excellent opportunities to observe lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and numerous other species in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat safari along the Victoria Nile, cruising all the way to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. The river provides the perfect vantage point for photographing a wide variety of bird species, including kingfishers, herons, and fish eagles, as well as animals gathering along the riverbanks for a drink, a rest, or even a refreshing plunge. This unforgettable experience at Murchison Falls National Park combines the thrill of a classic African game drive with the tranquillity of a river safari, delivering some of the region’s most iconic wildlife moments. Dinner and lodging at Pakuba Safari Lodge. DAY 4 – MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK - KIBALE FOREST Begin the day with a visit to the top of Murchison Falls, where the mighty Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge before crashing down with incredible power. Enjoy a short game drive en route, with opportunities to spot wildlife as the park awakens. Afterward, embark on a scenic transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. The journey leads you across the dramatic Albertine Escarpment, part of the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views, traditional homesteads, and breathtaking vistas of the legendary Mountains of the Moon (Rwenzori Range). Arrive at Kibale Forest in the evening, just in time for dinner and overnight. Kibale Forest is a magnificent tropical jungle and is renowned as the Primate Capital of the World. It is home to 13 species of primates, including chimpanzees, olive baboons,

black-and-white colobus, red colobus, grey‑cheeked mangabey, and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. With its rich biodiversity and dense forest canopy, Kibale offers one of Africa’s best primate‑tracking experiences. Dinner and lodging at Turaco Treetops or similar. DAY 5 – KUBALE FOREST Today, you will enjoy chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest, scheduled either in the morning or afternoon, depending on permit availability. This exciting experience allows you to follow a ranger into the heart of the forest in search of one of Kibale’s habituated chimpanzee families. Depending on your chimpanzee tracking time slot, you will also visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary either before or after the trek. The Bigodi Swamp Walk is a beautiful nature experience, offering the chance to spot a wide variety of birds, including the great blue turaco, as well as several primate species that thrive in this rich wetland ecosystem. Dinner and lodging at Turaco Treetops or similar. DAY 6 – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK Today, we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most iconic and wildlife rich destinations. On the way, we cross the Equator, a great spot for photos and a chance to stand in both hemispheres at once. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway that links Lake Edward and Lake George. This two hour cruise offers exceptional wildlife viewing, bringing you close to large pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, elephants along the shoreline, and an impressive array of birdlife. After the boat trip, enjoy a game drive on the way back to the lodge, giving you even more opportunities to spot wildlife during the golden hours of the day. Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best places in Uganda to see lions, and you can also expect frequent sightings of elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and—with a bit of luck—leopards. The Kazinga Channel is widely regarded as one of Uganda’s top highlights and is famous for having the highest concentration of hippos anywhere in Africa, making this cruise an unforgettable experience. Dinner and lodging at Kasenyi Safari Camp or similar. DAY 7 - ISHASHA After breakfast, we continue our journey through Queen Elizabeth National Park, heading south toward the Ishasha sector. Enjoy a game drive along the way, with another opportunity for wildlife viewing in the afternoon upon arrival. The Ishasha sector is renowned for its tree climbing lions, a rare behaviour seen in only a few places in Africa. These lions can often be spotted resting on the branches of giant fig trees—a truly unforgettable sight. Ishasha is also home to large populations of Topi antelopes, which are not found anywhere else within Queen Elizabeth

National Park, adding to the uniqueness of this region. Dinner and lodging at Uganda Jungle Lodges. DAY 8 – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Ishasha sector, giving you another chance to spot the famous tree‑climbing lions and other wildlife while the animals are most active. After the game drive, continue your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The route takes you through charming villages, terraced hillsides, and winding mountain roads, offering breathtaking panoramic views of southwestern Uganda’s dramatic landscapes. Arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a remarkable ancient rainforest and one of the most biologically diverse places in Africa. Home to numerous monkey species and countless birdlife, Bwindi is most famous for being one of only two places on Earth where the endangered Mountain Gorillas still exist—making it a truly extraordinary and unforgettable destination. DAY 9 –BWINDI IMPENETRABLE Gorilla Tracking Day!* Set off early this morning with your ranger for one of the most remarkable wildlife experiences on the planet—tracking the endangered Mountain Gorillas. Venture deep into the mist covered forest as you follow clues, calls, and footprints, eventually reaching a habituated gorilla family. You will spend time in the presence of these gentle giants—one of our closest relatives— observing their behaviour, interactions, and quiet strength. It is a profound and emotional encounter that stays with you for a lifetime. A picnic lunch is included, allowing you to enjoy a meal surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Bwindi’s ancient rainforest. DAY 10 – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE - LAKE BUNYONYI This morning, you will participate in an enriching community visit with the Batwa people, the region’s extraordinary indigenous forest community. We then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi which is one of Uganda’s deepest and most picturesque crater lakes. Formed by ancient volcanic eruptions, its serene, terraced hills and scattered islands create an exceptionally beautiful landscape. Thanks to its high elevation, the lake is free from dangerous wildlife such as crocodiles and hippos, and has no bilharzia, making it one of the few lakes in the region that is safe for swimming. Dinner and lodging at Heritage Lodge, Habuharo or Similar. DAY 11 – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, we depart for Lake Mburo National Park, a beautiful and compact savannah park known for its rich wildlife and peaceful atmosphere.
