Bursa lies in the foothills of the legendary Mount Olympos, known today as Uludag Mountain, and close to the Sea of Marmara. Bursa has seen Romans, Byzantines and Ottomans come and go. This 2,500 year old city was established as the first major capital of the Ottoman Empire. The green city of Bursa, is rich in scenic beauty, historic and cultural artefacts.
