Explore magnificent Rajasthan with rich history and majestic palaces. Live like royalty in India whilst staying in opulent Palace hotels. Day 1: Delhi On arrival you will be transferred to the Taj Palace, New Delhi hotel. Later on join a half-day tour to explore both Old and New Delhi. Day 2: Delhi – Agra – Delhi Board the train to Agra. Visit Agra Fort and the magnificent Taj Mahal, explore the Fatehpur Sikri complex that houses Panch Mahal and other palaces in Agra tour. Transfer back to the train to Delhi. Day 3-4: Delhi – Jaipur Take your flight to Jaipur and transfer to Rambagh Palace hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, exploring colourful bazaars. The following day, discover the Amber fort, Hawa Mahal, Maharaja’s City Palace and Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory. In the evening, you can opt for an Elephant Safari and barbeque dinner at Dera Amer. Day 5-6: Jaipur – Udaipur Take the flight to Udaipur and transfer to the Taj Lake Palace hotel. Enjoy a boat ride in Lake Pichola and learn more about the 1,500 year old history of Mewar in the Mewar sound and light show. Day 7: Udaipur – Mumbai Depart by air to Mumbai and check in to the Taj Mahal Palace hotel. Join a Mumbai tour to visit the Gateway of India, drive past Marine Drive known as the ‘Queen’s Necklace’, Victoria Terminus and discover the colourful Crawford market. Day 8: Mumbai Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Day 1: Mumbai Your journey of a lifetime begins with a grand welcome followed by registration is carried at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. You will be escorted to Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus Railway Station to board the train Maharajas’ Express and depart for Ajanta. Day 2: Ajanta Explore Ajanta Caves, the archaic Buddhist rock cave monuments date back 2 nd BC. Your luxury train then proceeds for the Venice of East, Udaipur. Day 3: Udaipur Discover the Lake City, full of dreamlike marble palaces. Enjoy a scenic boat ride in Pichola Lake and visit the Crystal Gallery housing the personal extraordinary crystal collection of Maharana Sajjan Singh of Udaipur at City Palace where you can enjoy a royal lunch. Day 4: Jodhpur Explore the archaic Mehrangarh Fort followed by walking tour of the Old Clock Tower Market combined with tuk-tuk ride. Enjoy an exclusive royal dinner with cultural performance at Hanwant Mahal. Day 5: Bikaner Visit Junagarh Fort and then proceed for sundowners amidst the picturesque sand dunes with folk dances. On your way enjoy a tea break at Gajner Palace. Day 6: Jaipur Begin your odyssey with a visit to the Amber Fort then proceed to City Palace/Jai Mahal Palace where you can get a closer look at the Indian heritage. Indulge in an elephant activity followed by lunch. Day 7: Ranthambore – Fatehpur Sikri Enjoy an exciting early morning game drive at Ranthambore National Park. Your train then departs for ancient Mughal capital, Fatehpur Sikri. Upon arrival visit the deserted Mughal city. Day 8: Agra – Delhi Arrive in Agra and visit the monumental icon of love, Taj Mahal followed by a posh breakfast feast atop Taj Khema. Your train proceeds for its last stop, the national capital – Delhi. Relish the last lunch of the tour on-board and bid farewell to the Maharajas’ Express as your journey comes to an end.
