DAY 3 MELBOURNE

Proceed for Melbourne city tour. We will travel through the city centre and visit Queen Victoria markets and Laneways & Street Art the best of Melbourne’s world-renowned street art scene on this self-guided walk through the city’s laneways. The artwork is as changeable as Melbourne’s weather, so you’ll always see something new. Hosier Lane laneway is an ever-changing canvas of paste-ups, murals and hidden sculptures. Degraves Street is an iconic Melbourne laneway that distils everything we love about our city into one pint-sized street. Take some time out to explore this street art filled laneway and its quirky boutiques and eateries. Stop at Federation Square which is the centre of creativity in a city that’s built around innovation, art, leafy green spaces, a flowing river and contemporary cultural activities and festivals. Flinders Street Station is Australia’s oldest train station, and with its prominent green copper dome, distinctive yellow facade, arched entrance, tower, and clocks, it is one of Melbourne’s most recognisable landmarks. The station was completed in 1910, and the upper floors were purpose-built to house a library, gym, and lecture hall, later used as a ballroom. Its 708-metre main platform is the fourth longest railway platform in the world. Drive over Westgate Bridge for panoramic views and visit the Botanic Gardens. Proceed to the Shrine of Remembrance which was built in 1934. The Shrine is the Victorian state memorial to Australians who have served in war and peacekeeping operations. Enter the Classical interior and discover the reverent solitude of the Sanctuary. View breath taking vistas of Melbourne from the balcony.

Dive into the bustling hive of commerce that is Bourke Street Mall. Emerge hours later, arms laden with shopping bags and your ears reverberating with the sounds of lively buskers. Busy, bustling Chapel Street, in Melbourne’s affluent inner east, is many things to many people. Perennially regarded as one of Melbourne’s most upmarket destinations for fashion, it’s also one of the city’s great ‘Eat Streets’. There are more restaurants, cafes, pubs, fast food joints and gelaterias per linear metre of its commercial hub than almost any other suburban thoroughfare. Today we start with the Moonlit Sanctuary (admission ticket included) Melbourne’s award-winning wildlife park and get a up close look at Australia’s amazing animals. Explore our bush-land while feeding kangaroos and wallabies, petting friendly koalas and enjoying encounters with wombats, reptiles, dingoes and many other animals including endangered species. More than 70 Australian species are waiting to meet you. Proceed to Cowes which is the heart of Phillip Island, a resort-style town flush with eateries. Like all towns on the island, it manages to retain a relaxed vibe and down-to-earthedness. While many make the pilgrimage to Phillip Island for a glimpse of those sweet, furry little penguins, Cowes uncovers new ways to experience the beguiling island life. A fantastic stroll along a boardwalk to The Nobbies and Seal Rocks. The scenery is incredible, a perfect blend of greenery and ocean with the black rock formations to remind you of the volcanic history the island is set upon. The Nobbies is an incredibly important site for Australia’s largest colony of Fur Seals. These cobblestone rocks that jut out of the water are a dramatic strip of land attached to the Phillip Island coastline. Watch little penguins dash home across the sand at dusk at Phillip Island’ world-famous Penguin Parade. The main penguin viewing area provides a 180-degree elevated platform to the coast. As these penguins spend the majority of their day in the ocean hunting for food, they only swim up to rest for the night. Therefore, as the sun sets and the penguins come home from a long day of fishing, the herd will shuffle their way up the beach to their burrows. The penguin parade platform is nestled right along the sandy shore, promising guests a front row seat the penguins waddle up the sand. DAY 4 MELBOURNE – PHILLIP ISLAND & PENGUIN PARADE

Specially commissioned by Governor Macquarie for his wife Elizabeth who was known to love the area this is one of the best vantage points to view the sights of Sydney Harbour. Free time at Darling Harbour which is a buzzing waterside precinct that’s just moments from the centre of Sydney, but still retains its small, intimate feel. This family-friendly destination has enough to keep children entertained all day, from fascinating museums to thrilling wildlife and delicious dining options. Barangaroo is Sydney’s newest and buzziest waterside precinct. An ambitious urban renewal project transformed this former container terminal into a hub boasting beautiful parkland, fantastic shopping, delicious restaurants and innovative architecture, including Crown Towers Sydney which was completed in 2021. The Sydney Tower Eye has been an integral part of the famous Sydney skyline for the past 30 years. Located 250 metres above

DAY 5 – MELBOURNE - YARRA VALLEY WINE & WILDLIFE Transfer to Healesville Sanctuary (admission ticket included) in the heart of the Yarra Valley, which is world-renowned as the best place to see Australian wildlife in their natural habitat. Set in a beautiful natural environment, the Sanctuary offers a place for people and animals to reconnect with nature from creek to canopy, and plays a critical role in saving some of the world’s most endangered animals. Explore the 70 acre bushland haven to experience close-up encounters with some of Australia’s unique and endearing wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, dingoes, birds of prey and platypus. Yarra Valley is a stunning natural playground of gourmet eateries and farm gates, quaint villages and – need we say – world famous vineyards. Ready to sniff, swirl and sip for a bit? There are more than 80 exceptional cellar doors to sidle up to. Lunch and wine tasting included. Visit the chocolate and ice cream factory (chocolate and ice cream at own expense).
