DAY 3 KINTAMANI – BALI SWING UBUD

Bali is famous for its traditional dances. One of them is the famous Barong & Keris Dance telling a story from the ancient Ramayana Epic. Our first stop during this tour is to enjoy the beauty and gracefulness of the skillful Balinese dancers. The dance expresses the eternal fight between good and evil spirits and ends with the magical Keris (dagger) dance. Then we will proceed to the Village of Kemenuh to visit the talented Balinese woodcarving artists in their traditional workshops. You will see how they carve beautiful statues and works of art from a single block of wood. Experience the enchanting Bali Swing Ubud, offering breathtaking views of terraced fields. Feel the exhilaration of soaring above lush rice paddies, knowing that your safety is paramount with seat belts securely fastened around your waist. The journey then continues to Kintamani to view the breathtaking Lake Batur and the active volcano called Mount Batur (1,730 meters). Here is an opportunity for you to have lunch (not included) with an amazing view. Visit the coffee plantation for coffee tasting. Our next destination is Tampaksiring, ‘The Fountain of Youth” and Holy Spring of Tirta Empul.

DAY 4 PURA AGUNG LEMPUYANG

Breakfast at hotel, then depart to the eastern of Bali and visit Pura Agung Lempuyang, considered as part of a complex of the temple surrounding Mount Lempuyang, one of the highly regarded temples of Bali. The temples of Mount Lempuyang, represented by the highest pura at the peak of Mount Lempuyang. Continue to Tirtagangga water palace, a former royal palace in eastern Bali. Last visit will be Tukad Cepung Waterfall which surrounded by lush vegetation.

DAY 5 BATU BULAN - PENGLIPURAN

After breakfast transfer to the village of Batu Bulan you will be introduced to the fine art of Batik painting. After this interesting visit, we proceed to the eastern part of Bali, which is dominated by the towering Mount Agung (3,142 meters). Built on one of the volcano’s slopes, the Besakih Temple Complex is the most important and sacred temple for the Balinese Hindu community. For this reason it is known as the “Mother Temple”. At Bukit Jambul, we will stop for a refreshing view over the beautiful valley and the opportunity for lunch (not included). On our way through the east of Bali you will discover the traditional village of Penglipuran. This village is unique for its different social community structure and layout, which dates back to the 16th century. On our return we will pay a visit to the Hall of Justice called “Kerta Gosa” in Klungkung, the former capital of Bali.

DAY 6 UBUD ADVENTURE CYCLING

SOBEK Ubud Adventure Cycling, The Best way to see some of the famous Ubud rice fields and village life. Ubud cycling is a perfect way to enjoy the real Balinese villages with your family. Trips start from Kadewatan Rafting Base Camp to Jukut Paku Village. A very safe ride with little traffic on the road, perfect with those without any cycling experience. All of SOBEK’s guides come from the surrounding regions and are trained to entertain and educate by sharing a broad depth of knowledge in Balinese culture and lifestyle. DAY 7 JATILUWIH – GITGIT WATERFALL - BEDUGUL

Breakfast at hotel, then drive to visit Jatiluwih - a beautiful rice terrace unfolding from the mountain side to the coastal side, to places of interest to be visited in the west part of Bali. Continue to Gitgit Waterfall that is surrounded by lush vegetation. Then drive to the coolest mountain resort of Bedugul, visit Ulun Danu Temple floating on its calm blue waters of Lake Beratan. Transfer to Nusa Dua for check in at the 5*Melia Bali.

DAY 8 UBUD – MENGWI – NUSA DUA

After breakfast we will drive to Mengwi, where the famous Taman Ayun Temple was built for The Prince of Tabanan in the early 17th century. This important temple is surrounded by a large moat, signifying the world of the ocean. Continue our visit to the holy monkey forest of Alas Kedaton. Save some space in your memory card for the spectacular Tanah Lot Temple. This temple is built on the top of a rock in the Indian Ocean, just a few hundred meters offshore. Watch the rough sea as it crashes into the coast.

DAY 9 NUSA PENIDA

Breakfast and transfer to Sanur and proceed by boat to Nusa Penida island. Upon arrival at Nusa Penida continue by car/vehicle and visit Angels Billabong, Broken Beach with Arch, Kelingking Beach and Crystal Beach. Lunch will be provided enroute. Afternoon, cross back to Sanur and back to your hotel in Nusa Dua.

DAY 10 AYUNG RIVER RAFTING

Breakfast and get picked up from your hotel in cool air-conditioned comfort and cruise through the rice paddies and sleepy villages of Bali. Enjoy the views as you head through the charming village of Carang Sari and arrive at the stunning Ayung River Gorge to begin your white-water adventure. The start-point itself is perched on the edge of this stunning locale, and as our professional and friendly guides equip you with international standard safety equipment, head down to the water’s edge for a full safety brief before heading out on the river. DAY 11 KECAK ULUWATU

Breakfast and transfer to Kecak Uluwatu. Enjoy a pleasant short ride along the hills of Bali’s southern peninsula. This area, known as Bukit, offers a landscape and topography unequaled by any other regions of the island. Unlike the majority lush tropical country sides which owed their fertile soils to the volcanoes that dotted the central highlands, this arid terrain-formed by millennia of coral sedimentations is a world of its own. Their beautiful-yet-wild beaches are heaven for surfers. In the corner of this peninsula, perched on a sheer cliff, is a highly venerated Uluwatu temple. A performance of The Ramayana epic based Kecak Dance with the majestic temple and sunset as its background, will give a climax to this memorable evening.
