DAY 7 GUDAURI – GERGETI TRINITY CHURCH (4X4 VEHICLE) – TBILISI In the morning after breakfast, we will head to Stepantsminda, where we’ll visit the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church. Set at an altitude of 2,170 meters, this church offers stunning views, with Mount Kazbegi towering in the background. The ascent to the church will be made using local 4x4 vehicles, and after the visit, there will be time for a scenic walk. If the weather permits, we may also have the chance to view the glacier of Mount Kazbegi, one of the highest in the Greater Caucasus at 5,047 meters. Next, we’ll visit a local art studio to observe the traditional felting process of wool, accompanied by a tasting of the region’s famous Muraba tea. We then return to Tbilisi and stop by the sea of Tbilisi to explore the great monument Chronicles of Georgia - a series of grand murals near Tbilisi, depicting key moments from Georgia’s history. Set against the Caucasus Mountains, it showcases legendary figures, battles, and religious events, making it one of the largest frescoes in the world. Have a nice walk around the territory with the nice views. Dinner in the Georgian traditional resturant with folk show near from the tbilisi sea. The day concludes with an overnight stay in Akhaltsikhe, with dinner at the hotel. DAY 8 TBILISI – MALTA Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Malta.

On our return to Akhaltsikhe, we’ll visit the magnificent Rabati Complex, a collection of historical and cultural monuments that offers a fascinating glimpse into Georgia’s past. The day concludes with an overnight stay in Akhaltsikhe, with dinner at the hotel. - UPLISTSIKHE CAVE TOWN – DRIVE ALONG THE MILITARY WAY - GUDAURI After breakfast drive along the ancient Silk Road, we visit the Rock-Hewn City of Uplistsikhe, Georgia’s oldest rock-cut city, dating back to the 6th century BC. As we explore the city, we’ll walk along ancient streets, passing royal palaces, pagan temples, and Christian churches. Highlights include a rock-cut theater, a pharmacy counter, and the remnants of extensive granaries and terracotta wine storage vessels, offering a glimpse into the daily lives of the inhabitants. Next, we’ll make a photographic stop in Gori, home to the Stalin Museum, where we’ll capture views of this historic town. Continuing along the historic military road, we journey towards the Great Caucasus Mountains. The scenery here is breathtaking, with green fields, alpine meadows, sparkling rivers, and towering peaks creating a truly mystical atmosphere.
