This thrilling theme park features epic rides and attractions based on some of the most memorable and successful movie franchises of recent years from mega studios Dreamworks Animation, Sony Columbia Pictures and Lionsgate. The three join forces to create one giant, magical park. Just a few Hollywood favourites featured include: Ghostbusters, Kung Fu Panda, The Hunger Games, The Smurfs, Shrek and Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. Strap in for a ride, on some adrenaline-pumping rollercoasters, such as The Green Hornet’s High Speed Chase and the Madagascar Mad Pursuit, or drop down vertically in the high-speed Zombieland Blast Off. For those wanting a little less extreme but still entertaining experience, explore the Backlot Tour. You can see how these amazing movies go from being an idea to a premiering motion picture. STEP INTO THE WORLD’S FIRST FOOTBALL THEME PARK

Whether you are a football fan or a theme park enthusiast, a visit to Real Madrid World should be on your Dubai to-do list. The world’s first football theme park features over 40 experiences and attractions, and is located within Dubai Parks and Resorts. Get together with family and friends for a day of adventure and thrills at Real Madrid World. The venue is divided into three zones – Champions Avenue, Celebration Plaza and Stars Avenue. After trying out the rides, browse an impressive collection of official Real Madrid merchandise and dine at one of its eateries, offering Spanish favourites and more.

Discover new heights and follow the club’s journey on the region’s first wooden roller coaster, Hala Madrid, or conquer the Stars Flyer, the world’s tallest amusement ride at 460 feet. Feel the rush at Hands Up!, a high-octane drop tower experience, or ride The Wave – La Ola with the entire family. Other immersive concepts include the Bernabéu Experience, which will transport you to the exclusive locker room of the Madrid-based stadium, and The Factory of Dreams, a virtual simulator ride. THE GATEWAY TO DUBAI PARKS AND RESORTS

As the gateway to Dubai Parks and Resorts, Riverland Dubai is where you’ll most likely begin your theme park adventure. Connecting all of the theme parks – the district is home to more than 50 restaurants, cafés and shops spread across four themed zones. It’s more than just a launch pad for the parks though. Street theatre performances, family-friendly events and an attractive canal make Riverland Dubai a destination in its own right, while free entry means it attracts a mix of theme park-goers and local residents who come to soak up the holiday atmosphere. Take a nostalgia-inducing trip back to 1950s America at The Boardwalk, with palm trees, neon signs and casual eateries imported from the US. Treat the family to burritos at Tortilla or hickory-smoked ribs at Famous Dave’s, followed by a cherry topped sundae at retro ice cream parlour, Ella’s Creamery. In the atmospheric French Village, you can wander along cobblestone streets lined with medieval style buildings. Stop by Pascal Tepper for oven-fresh pastries and baguettes, and shop for souvenirs at stores such as Gallery One, I Love Dubai and Dubai Duty Free.
