Tivoli Gardens, Denmark

Stockholm, Sweden

Copenhagen Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, sits on the coastal islands of Zealand and Amager. Indre By, the city’s historic centre, contains Frederiksstaden, an 18th century rococo district, home to the royal family’s Amalienborg Palace. Nearby is Christiansborg Palace and the Renaissance-era Rosenborg Castle. Sightseeing If you are interested in learning about the history of Copenhagen and Denmark, ‘Meet the Danes’ Tour is for you! The hidden quarters and narrow alleyways of medieval Copenhagen invite you on an adventure. Hear the tale of a tiny village developing into a thriving renaissance city, seat of the Royal family for generations and home of the Danish Royal Navy. The Viking land Tour-Roskilde heads west to the town of Roskilde. First stop is the ancient Roskilde Cathedral where the Kings and Queens of Denmark have been crowned for hundreds of years and are entombed. After the Cathedral, make a visit to the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde. The Viking Ship Museum offers a unique opportunity to experience Viking ships, the Viking Age and life at sea. Experiences • From the world’s oldest theme park at Tivoli to its culinary credentials and fashionable locals, Copenhagen is one of Scandinavia’s finest cities. • Nyhavn is a must visit. Once up on a time a busy commercial port – today the beautiful old houses have been renovated and restaurants dominate the old port.

Stockholm The city of Stockholm, built on 14 islands and connected by 57 bridges, is unsurprisingly also known as ‘Beauty on Water’. Its handy size and short walking distances makes it easy to cover a lot in a short amount of time. Sightseeing Skansen Open Air Museum and Vasa Ship Museum Tour is a combination of visits to the Skansen Open Air Museum, one of Stockholm’s most popular tourist attractions with some 150 houses and farmsteads from all over Sweden. The Vasa Museum is Scandinavia’s most visited museum. The Museum was inaugurated in 1990. When entering the large ship hall, you will feast your eyes on the warship Vasa – the only remaining intact 17th century warship in the world. On the Drottningholm Palace and Royal Stockholm Tour you will visit the permanent residence of Their Majesties the King and the Queen, Drottningholm Palace. It is the most well-preserved royal castle built in the 1600s in Sweden and at the same time is representative of all European architecture for the period. Experiences • Stroll around the pretty cobblestone streets of Gamla Stan, the most central and historic island within the Swedish capital Stockholm. • ABBA The Museum, an interactive exhibition about the pop band ABBA is a must see for music lovers and ABBA fans. Perhaps dance to one of their songs and more.

Oslo Located on the country’s southern coast at the head of the Oslofjord, Oslo is known for its green spaces and museums. Many of these are on the Bygdøy Peninsula, including the waterside Norwegian Maritime Museum and the Viking Ship Museum. Sightseeing The Grand Oslo Experience Tour begins with a walk around the new Opera House. From the spectacular outdoor terrace, you will be able to enjoy stunning views across the Oslo fjord. Among other highlights, you will visit the Viking Ship Museum, with its three Viking vessels on display. The Vigeland Park, one of the major Scandinavian cultural treasures, will welcome you with the sculptures of Gustav Vigeland, who dedicated his life to his artistic works. Oslo and Bygdøy Tour takes you to the Akershus Fortress for a short walk and photo stop. Throughout 700 years, Akershus Fortress has played a central role in Norwegian history. On a visit to the Kon-Tiki Museum, you will be able to see the original boats and exhibits from Thor Heyerdahl’s world famous expeditions. Experiences • Stop by the Sunday flea market at Birkelund Square in the Grünerlökka neighbourhood. Browse the stalls of fresh farm goods, antique furniture, used books, and vintage clothing, among many other offerings. • Visit the Oslo Food Hall at Vulkan 5. Called Mathallen in Norwegian, the food hall offers culinary offerings from around the world.
